FOOD TRIP x NOBEOKA 2025 ~Traveling through Nobeoka at the Table~

The Nobeoka Promotion Council for the East Kyushu Basque Country Project (Chairman: Nobeoka Mayor Hisatoshi Miura), which is working to attract visitors from outside the city with Nobeoka's attractive "food" as a key theme, held an event called "FOOD TRIP x NOBEOKA ~Traveling through Nobeoka at the Table~" in Marunouchi, Tokyo on Wednesday, October 29th, to promote the city by offering tastings of dishes made with Nobeoka ingredients and providing information on local tourism.

At this event, we invited approximately 85 people, mainly those who were "unfamiliar" with or had "never visited" Nobeoka City, including influencers, media representatives, and travel agents. The event featured dishes made with Nobeoka ingredients prepared by chefs from three local restaurants: Washoku Isana (Honmachi), Pasta & Cafe Coccolo (Hiraharacho), and Chinese Cuisine Sugiyama (Funakuracho), paired with local sake from three breweries. In addition, we held various events to help people learn about Nobeoka, including mini-attractions related to Nobeoka, a quiz competition, and PR booths providing tourist information.

Chairman Miura appealed, "Nobeoka City is a place where you can enjoy ingredients nurtured by its rich nature and exquisite food created by highly skilled chefs. Please become a fan."
