The couple, who laugh together saying they "don't want to do the same thing as everyone else," are growing baby greens, a rarity in Nobeoka. They don't use pesticides during cultivation, and harvest each leaf carefully by hand. The dozen or so varieties of baby greens grown here are all different in appearance, taste, and nutritional value, making them a treat for the eyes, the palate, and the body.
