Forty-five years ago, the founder trained in Shimonoseki and declared he would "return to Nobeoka and open a restaurant specializing in fresh seafood." However, at the time, fresh seafood was unheard of in Nobeoka, and he faced strong opposition from those around him. Now, they have eight fish tanks of varying sizes, and the founder personally goes to purchase the seafood with the second generation.
